QUEENSLAND DOLPHINS TOUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Bookings and Deposits:
Bookings will only be confirmed upon receipt of the non refundable deposit of $1000 per travelling person. The balance of the tour costs will be subject to the advised payment schedule). Any changes to the itinerary after the reservation has been confirmed will be subject to surcharges.
2. Balance of Payment:
Full balance of payments are due no later than the payment dates issued in your welcome letter.
3. Cancellation of Booking:
Should the client need to cancel their reservation with more than 12 weeks before the departure date, a fee will be charged to compensate Queensland Dolphins Baseball for expenses undertaken on behalf of the client. All cancellations will incur a fee of $1,000 per travelling person as agreed upon in clause 1 as well as any money not able to be refunded by the insurance policy.
Any cancellation within 12 weeks of the departure date will forfeit all monies paid for said tour as non refundable group tickets, accommodation, airfares, tournament fees, transportation and sightseeing activities have been paid for in full to the vendors and ticketed. All group tickets are non refundable 12 weeks out from the tour.
4. Changes to Tour Costs:
The tour costs are based on airfares and exchange rates at the date of printing. All relevant airfare increases prior to departure must be borne by the client. In the event of international currency fluctuations or changes to the itinerary that are required by unforeseen circumstances, the tour cost will be adjusted accordingly. All additional costs, if any must be paid by the client. Should these changes be unacceptable, the client reserves the right to cancel the reservations held, subject to cancellation of booking as detailed in clause 3 above. Should these changes result in reduction of the tour cost, the applicable refund will be made.
5. Itineraries and Schedules:
The Queensland Dolphins Baseball tours and packages are based on published airline schedules as well as sightseeing ticket, accommodation, and transfer prices valid at the time of printing. All of these components are subject to alteration without notice by suppliers. Consequently, Queensland Dolphins Baseball reserves the right to alter, change or cancel any such components as it deems necessary, at any time, and without obligation.
6. Unused Tour Services:
Queensland Dolphins Baseball will not provide refunds in respect of unused accommodation, venue tickets, meals, sightseeing tours, transfers, or any other services, which are included in the tour cost, but not utilized by the client.
7. Taxes and Charges:
Airport taxes and charges are included in the tour price. Some airports charge an additional fee on departure, and this is levied on the client directly, and not pre-payable by Queensland Dolphins Baseball. Hotels and service providers will also often add service fees and charges to accounts of a personal nature, which are the responsibility of the client.
8. Sightseeing Tickets:
The face value of the sightseeing ticket is not necessarily the actual price paid by the provider of such tickets. The tickets for many events are sourced through legally registered overseas ticket brokers, which build license fees and royalties into the ticket price.
9. Tour Inclusions:
All tour components are outlined in the inclusions section of the relevant tour. It is the passenger's responsibility to confirm which components are included in the purchased package or tour at the time of reservation.
10. Tour Exclusions:
Charges for passports; visas; meals not specified in the itineraries; beverages; laundry; excess baggage charges; gratuity; items of a personal nature; vaccinations and inoculations; any expense in Australia; expenses for guides and transportation not included in the itineraries; insurance cover; and airport taxes except specified. Queensland Dolphins Baseball will be happy to advise in regard to obtaining passports, visas, permits and insurance. IMPORTANT NOTE: It is compulsory that at the time of making a reservation you take out travel insurance. The policy you choose must include: loss of deposits through cancellation; loss of personal baggage and money; medical expenses.
11. Responsibility:
Queensland Dolphins Baseball and/or its associated Companies or Agents give notice that they act as booking agent only for the persons or companies providing or offering the means of travel conveyance, transport, accommodation, or other service and all receipts, dockets, vouchers, coupons, sightseeing tickets or exchange orders are issued subject to the terms and conditions under which transportation and other services are provided. Queensland Dolphins Baseball shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity that may be caused or arising during any tour under its management, sponsorship, procurement or otherwise notwithstanding that the Company's principal may be a foreign company, corporation or person. So far as the Company shall not be acting as such booking agent it shall be deemed to be acting as Agent for the person making the reservation. It is the responsibility of the passenger to ensure that he is in possession of the other travel documents and that they are in compliance with the current government and transportation companies' regulations. The right is reserved to modify the itinerary in any way considered necessary or desirable or to change any reservation and/or means of conveyance, without notice and for any reasons whatsoever and without allowance or refund but the extra cost, if any, resulting there from must be paid by the passenger. The right is also reserved to cancel or withdraw any tour or any reservation made for a passenger or decline to accept or retain any person as a member of a tour for any reason whatsoever. The transportation companies or firms shall be exempt from all liability in respect to any detention, delay, loss, damage, sickness or injury, however, and by whomever caused, and of whatever kind occurring of or to the passenger at any time when the passenger is not on board a carrier or conveyance used or operated by the transportation companies or firms. Passage contracts in use by the transportation companies or firms concerned shall constitute the sole contract between the transportation companies or firms and the purchaser of these tours and/or passengers. All fares are subject to change without notice. Queensland Dolphins Baseball reserves the right to amend the land cost of the tour in the event of foreign exchange fluctuations. Should any additional charges be involved this shall be billed to the passenger prior to departure of the tour. The act of signing a completed Reservation Form, and the issuance and acceptance of receipts, tickets, vouchers, coupons or exchange orders shall be deemed consent to the above conditions.
